I am currently looking for 1 or 2 more players that are would like to take their soccer skills to the next level. At the COMP level we focus on speed, agility, ball control, tactics and technique. The is a great opportunity to have fun a really learn what soccer is all about.

Similar to physical endurance or mastering a second language, soccer skills and techniques will diminish without practice. This spring our players will have the opportunity to attend up to 3 training sessions per week! The spring program offers competitive players the opportunity to maintain and grow the techniques/skills and general tactical ideas that they learn to master through-out the regular season.

Primary Objectives of the Spring Program:

Training Schedule Beginning Sunday March, 14 – Sunday May, 23rd

Sundays- 3:00-5:00 @ CP2 (scrimmages TBD)
Mondays- 5:30 to 7:30 or Dark @ Old Ranch
Wednesdays- 5:30 to 7:30 or Dark @ Old Ranch

For your convenience, attendance to training will be on a drop-in basis and the cost for each session is only $15. It is recommended that the players attend at least 10 sessions (1 per week), attendance at more than 10 sessions would be great. All players must bring a soccer ball and wear SRS issued practice gear.

First things first, I need to hear back from each of the players confirming your commitment to the team. I have already heard from the majority of you but I need and email or a phone call commitment confirmation with in the next 24 hours. Please let me know at that time if you are interested in spring league as well.

Once you have notified me of your commitment the next steps is to complete your registration with the club and to send me all your contact information. I would like to setup a parent meeting, in the next few weeks so we can all discuss the details of the season and create our team goals. As I mentioned the goal of the game is to win so it is not necessary that we always focus on winning. As a team we need to focus on becoming all around better players, with our feet, off the ball and even off the field.
